Press / Testimonials
As a new brand formed by industry veterans, 2018 was our breakout year in the market. Read what the press and our customers have said about our current portfolio of 2015 / 2016 releases.
The Oregon Chardonnays made with skin contact have a tension to them that calls to mind a violin bow sliding across strings. A 2015 bottling from 00, called VGW ($65), is tart and succulent, savory and botanical, with a hefty structure for a white that has an alcohol level of 12.9%. Served in a black glass, it could be mistaken for a red wine. "

Back to Black: 00 Wines champions unique techniques
"While the winemaking has been guided by Burgundian winemaking consultant Pierre Millemann, whose clients include world-renowned producers such as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Dujac, 00 recently hired winemaker Wynne Peterson-Nedry — formerly with Chehalem Winery — for the 2018 harvest. She will be making the wine alongside current winemaker Maxence Lecat. Peterson-Nedry will lead the cellar in November, when Lecat returns to France."

2015 00 Wines Shea Pinot Noir: "This bad boy dials in at a cool 12.8%. Super impressive. The aromas can be smelled from 4 feet away, as the perfume is very intense and vibrant. It is honestly rather gorgeous, all high tones, beautiful deep deep red berries, heavy violet floral notes. Palate entry is very sexy in texture. All elegance, with beautiful ripe red fruit, fantastic acidity immediately penetrating the tongue, and soft, round tannins pulling it all together. Really wonderful fruit here. The finish is quite spicy, showing lots of wonderful spiced Pinot fruits, ripping tart acidity, and plentiful bright high toned red fruits. This whole package lingers and evolves for a minute after swallowing. I was, and remain, a bit skeptical of the project here with the cost of the wines at the top (almost just to prove a point) seeming to come ahead of winemaker consistency and developed "value" over time, but there is absolutely no doubt this is a home run of an Oregon Pinot. One of, if not the, finest Oregon Pinot Noir I've had in years. Hate to say it, but yes, this has Burgundian balance and grace, which I rarely find in Oregon."
